Girls wrestling is gaining momentum all over the country! 48 schools nationwide have added Girls Wrestling to their school, and Life University in Marietta, GA is the returning national champ for Girls Wrestling in the NAIA! Our wrestling team is focused on bringing these new opportunities to our students. We will be having a GIRLS ONLY interest meeting on Wednesday, September 7th in C102 at 2:20pm to talk about all the opportunities that are available.

Georgia has offered a Girls Wrestling tournament for the last three years (14 states still do not offer Girls Wrestling) where each individual wrestler can compete in their weight class against all the best girls in the state. However, this year will be the FIRST time that GHSA will sanction a Duals State Championship tournament for girls, where all weight classes will compete team-versus-team to determine the best girls team in Georgia. These opportunities have been benefitting boys for many years, and now our girls team will be getting the same focus for our upcoming season. Equity!
